Marc Cantlin5 "5-Track" Philpin

BRUCE

is a band of musicians formed in Vermont. Their music, based on a 4D dialogue between founder Marc Cantlin and co-conspirator 5-Track (the other half of the brain), draws on funk, freejazz, rocknroll, afro-groove and etc. BRUCE songs have been covered by Seattle-based groups The Bond ("Preacher's Last Stand"), Glass Goblins ("Two Stones", "See To Sin") and Coulby Styles' Project ("Beaver Mimic in A Minor"). Marc & 5 take turns on guitar, bass, and singing - sometimes they trade instruments in the middle of a song. Each of them contributes original music. A lot of each set is channelled in the moment from pure energy.
